Chinese believe people will go to Hell or heaven after they die. When they become ghost, they need something such as money. Therefore we burn money for them. We believe they will receive it when we burn it to them. The money is very special because it is not for us. Compare with real money, it looks different.
It is very common when you see people burn "money" in the special day. The "special money" is very cheap because we spend less real money buying more special money. (極力解釋何謂"焚紙錢") Do you believe an afterlife? ghost? hell or heaven?

Yes, I believe in "afterlife". But not in heaven and hell.
Aferlife is for me another life cycle.
Heaven and Hell are pictured as absolute worlds in Christianity.
I don't believe in absolute worlds because I think all experience is gained trough relation.
It's difficult to explain. But I don't believe in eternal happyness or pain. (heaven, hell)
If the sun would shine everyday, would you still wake up and say: "wow what a lovely weather today?"
No, you say this because it rained last week. This is relation. I hope you understand.
I do believe in ghost. This is just soul with no body. A ghost without shell.
My view is not Christian at all, it's no religion actually. it's just my view of things.
